Swemgat

Swemgat

The Swemgat just give its own vibes the place you have to be when visit Kaleo. The Swemgat is ideally for the "Friday night braai spot" before the big day on the Saturday. The Swemgat is open for our guests that book for the weekend. The swemgat is also open for weekend visit on request beforehand. Also, for year-end functions it is ideally just to come and have a break-out of the office.

  • We had a refreshing and peaceful stay on the farm.

    We arrived on the Friday afternoon. We loved the braai room with convenient private ablutions. We endured a wild thunderstorm in the early hours of Saturday morning. By 1pm on Saturday afternoon, we experienced a dramatic downpour. And this is where our stay was made pleasant - we could braai and huddle around the fire on the stoep under cover. What a blessing.     The farm is absolutely beautiful! There are endless opportunities to explore on foot or by mountain bike, surrounded by breathtaking scenery of majestic mountains, unique rock formations, tranquil dams, and stunning proteas.     Overall, Kaleo Guest Farm is amazing. The amenities are great and the location is perfect. I do feel like what we paid for the luxury campsite was a bit much.   • Ek stel dit vir seker voor vir nuwe kampeerders.

    Ek het gekamp met my gesin (insluitend kleuter) en my ouers. Die kampterrein is baie netjies en sluit 'n lekker speelarea vir die kinders in (groot bonus vir ons). Dit het gereën oor die naweek en die privaat ablusie en onderdak braai/opwasarea was 'n groot aanwins! Ek stel dit vir seker voor, veral vir diegene wat nog nuut is tot kamp en dalk nuwe mense wil blootstel.
