We thoroughly enjoyed camping at Kaleo Luxury Campsite.

The farm is absolutely beautiful! There are endless opportunities to explore on foot or by mountain bike, surrounded by breathtaking scenery of majestic mountains, unique rock formations, tranquil dams, and stunning proteas. We chose to camp, which exceeded our expectations. The campsites are set on beautifully manicured lawns, with each site having its own private kitchen area and bathroom, making for a comfortable and convenient stay. The abundant birdlife added to the peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Excellent value for money! We can't wait to return!

Secluded camping with great views and swims.

Overall, Kaleo Guest Farm is amazing. The amenities are great and the location is perfect. I do feel like what we paid for the luxury campsite was a bit much. But it was definitely nice having your own ablution block. In general, it's a stunning location, very secluded and quiet. The "swemgat" is amazing. It really is a little oasis. I am excited to possibly go back in the winter. They do also have chalet and cabin options, which I think I would rather consider next time. But again, I think cheaper prices would be a win. (Side note, please add grills to the braai areas. Some people forget their own ones).

Ek stel dit vir seker voor vir nuwe kampeerders.

Ek het gekamp met my gesin (insluitend kleuter) en my ouers. Die kampterrein is baie netjies en sluit 'n lekker speelarea vir die kinders in (groot bonus vir ons). Dit het gereën oor die naweek en die privaat ablusie en onderdak braai/opwasarea was 'n groot aanwins! Ek stel dit vir seker voor, veral vir diegene wat nog nuut is tot kamp en dalk nuwe mense wil blootstel.

Hope you are well. Just another BIG thank you for an amazing stay. Already singing your praises with family and friends and I for one, will be back. Just wish we could stay longer.

I am in tourism industry and this is by far the best self-catering accommodation I have ever stayed at.
Conohick, who is in charge of reservations, is very responsive and even ensured that all the heating panels and our electric blankets on the beds were switched on upon arrival as it was mid-winter. She provided us with lots of information of what to do in the area and even arranged a tour for us.
I have never seen a house so well-equipped. They even have a scale should you wish to measure flour for baking bread! All the kitchen utensils are available and all high quality. The house is so cozy with beautiful carpets, leather couches, fire place, indoor and outdoor braai places and the linen was top end.
We stayed in the Manor House however even the other accommodation types including the campgrounds, from a distance look amazing offering great views of an area surrounded by the most impressive Cedarberg Mountains.
I can continue singing their praises but you will not be disappointed going.

We recently embarked on a spontaneous snow trip to the Kouebokkeveld and decided to stay at Kaleo Guest Farm. It turned out to be an absolutely magical experience. Upon arriving at the Worldwide Cottage, we were greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere, with all the heaters already on, creating the perfect refuge from the cold. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and incredibly cozy. After settling in, we made a fire, but quickly realized we didn't have enough wood. The guest farm supplied us with more wood, ensuring we could enjoy our evening by the fire without any worries. The amenities at the cottage were top-notch. The rooms were well-kept, and the water was hot, making for a comfortable stay. Waking up to a breathtaking winter wonderland was the highlight of our trip. The sight of the snow-covered landscape was simply enchanting. Although the electricity went off for a while, the staff kept us well-informed via WhatsApp. They communicated all necessary information about the power outage and provided updates on road closures due to the snow, which was incredibly helpful. Kaleo Guest Farm provided us with an unforgettable winter escape. The combination of excellent service, cozy accommodations, and stunning surroundings made our trip truly special. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Kouebokkeveld in winter.

It was one of the most enjoyable stay ever

Some maintenance the host should look at
Broken rain gutters that bang all night from the wind
Rain Water flooding the unit through the windows and the front door
Loss of power on the last night stay until we vacated the next morning

Communication was excellent and fruendly

A gem in the Kouebokkeveld .. cottages and surrounds are kept extremely neat. Furnishing are adequate with the bonus of air-conditioning as we were there when day temperatures were over 36°C. we thoroughly enjoyed the 'swemgat' natural swimming facilities and to fly-fish for nice bass in the main dam was a bonus. Overall very good value and a lovely sheep farm environment. Definitely recommended.

“Through Air B/B we have stayed at & explored some fantastic places and Kaleo Manor is amongst them. The Manor House is beautifully decorated and fully equipped to accommodate a family get together or a gathering of friends or just to enjoy as a couple like we did. It stands amongst an avenue of mature oaks surrounded by lush green grass. We arrived on a chilly afternoon but soon settled in with a fire going in the lounge and wall heaters in the bedrooms which set the scene for a cosy evening. We spent two nights at Kaleo Manor but wish we could of stayed for longer. We walked the 22 k. mountain bike ride and marvelled at the beautiful scenery. There is a ‘swim gat’ which although very inviting, we gave it a miss due to winter conditions. A mountain biker & hikers paradise. Thank you for giving us such a special two night experience - we will be back!”

On behalf of Cathy and myself we would like to thank you guys so much for a wonderful week at the Guest Farm Camping together with last nights stay in one of your Flatlets.
We have done a lot of camping over the years and stayed at many wonderful places. Kaleo Guest Farm is right up there as one of our favourites . All the facilities are really well thought out and practical and as cyclists the network of roads and paths are wonderful .
